Reading activity – Routine

Hello! Welcome to day 12! Estamos passando da metade do nosso desafio e você já deve estar percebendo uma evolução no seu inglês, certo? Hoje a aula é sobre rotina. Ontem estudamos os verbos para falar da rotina e hoje você irá ler e interpretar um texto sobre a rotina de uma pessoa.
Primeiramente leia e escute o texto e pesquise aquelas palavras que você não conhece e não conseguiu entender pelo contexto:

This is John. He’s a firefighter. He’s tall and muscular. He works at the fire station. He helps people in emergencies.

He gets up at 6:00 in the morning. He takes a shower and puts on his uniform. Then he eats breakfast at 6:30. At 7:00, he drives his truck to the fire station.

John starts work at 8:00. He checks the equipment in the fire station. Then, he responds to fire calls and rescues people. At 12:00, he has lunch. He goes home at five o’clock.

At home, he takes a shower and he cooks dinner. He has dinner at 6:30 in the evening. Then, he spends time with his family. At 10:00, he goes to bed.
