In this 7-hour practical workshop for teachers, inspired by the work of Adrian Underhill, Carina Fragozo and Ricardo Barros will cover the theory behind some key areas of pronunciation, starting with the IPA chart. Then, they will tackle common pronunciation mistakes made by Brazilians (based on lesson observations and research). These will include problems with particular vowel and consonant sounds, voiced and unvoiced sounds, word and sentence stress and intonation.
